ServiceNow MCP server
ServiceNow in any MCP client, through Memtro: ServiceNow does not publish this server. Memtro's ServiceNow connector reads ServiceNow through its API with the credentials you connect, and one endpoint hands those tools, every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools to Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop or anything else that speaks Streamable HTTP, as you.
What the model can do
ITSM from ServiceNow: search incidents, changes and requests, read a ticket with its comments and work notes, search knowledge articles, and query any readable table; can also raise an incident or a change request, add a work note or a comment the caller sees, and change a ticket's state, assignment, priority, closure or a change's planned window when you ask.
Reads
servicenow_search_incidentsSearch ServiceNow incidents by state, priority, assignment group, assignee, caller, keyword and date, newest opened first (default: open incidents).servicenow_get_ticketOne ticket by number (INC…, CHG…, RITM…, REQ…, PRB…, TASK…, KB…) with its description…servicenow_search_changesSearch change requests by state, type (standard/normal/emergency), risk, assignment group, keyword or planned window, newest first.servicenow_search_requestsService catalog requested items (RITMs): what was ordered, for whom, stage, approval and assignee.servicenow_search_knowledgeSearch published knowledge articles by words in the title or body; returns number, title, knowledge base, category, author…servicenow_query_tableRead any table with an encoded query, e.g. table=cmdb_ci_server query=operational_status=1^nameLIKEprod fields=name,ip_address,os.
Acts, when you ask
These change something in ServiceNow. The model is told to use them only when you ask for exactly that, and each one is granted by name: per team on a shared connection, by the owner on a personal one.
servicenow_create_incidentRaises an incident in ServiceNow.servicenow_create_changeRaises a change request in ServiceNow.servicenow_add_commentAdds a note to a ServiceNow ticket (INC…, CHG…, RITM…, REQ…, PRB…, TASK…, or a sys_id with table).servicenow_update_ticketChanges a ServiceNow ticket — its state (in the words people use: "in progress", "on hold", "resolved", "closed"), its assignment group or assignee…
Connect it
First connect ServiceNow on Dashboard → Connections, then add Memtro to your client once. The ServiceNow tools appear alongside the tools of everything else you have connected; nothing is configured per connector.
Claude Code
One command registers the server; the tools are then available in every session.
claude mcp add --transport http memtro https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-..."Cursor
Add the server to .cursor/mcp.json in the project, or to the global file under ~/.cursor/.

"memtro": {
"url": "https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer sk-memtro-..."
}
}
}
}Claude Desktop
Create a personal API key on Dashboard → Profile → API keys. In Claude Desktop add an MCP server of type HTTP with URL https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-…
OpenCode
A remote server in opencode.json.

}
}Any other client
Add an MCP server of type HTTP (Streamable HTTP, stateless) at https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-.... Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the SDKs all take a remote server this way.
Who may use it
The key identifies the person, and the server offers that person the tools they may use everywhere else in Memtro. A shared ServiceNow connection is used by the teams an administrator granted it to, tool by tool, on the Permissions page; a personal connection is used by its owner alone, and its tools that act stay off until the owner allows them. See Teams and permissions and Connectors.
Ask it like this
- › What P1 incidents are open right now and who owns them?
- › Summarise INC0012345 including the latest work notes
- › Which changes are scheduled for this weekend?
- › Is there a knowledge article about VPN certificate renewal?
- › Show the servers in the CMDB tagged production in the Frankfurt location
Questions
- Is this an official ServiceNow MCP server?
- No. It is Memtro's MCP server with Memtro's ServiceNow connector behind it: the connector reads ServiceNow through its API with the credentials you connect on Dashboard → Connections, and ServiceNow publishes nothing here. The same endpoint carries every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing on top of Memtro. One price per organisation by its number of users, from $50 a month for up to 10 users after a 7-day free trial, with every connector, the MCP server, jobs and memory included. You bring your own model keys.
- Can it change anything in ServiceNow?
- Only when you ask, and only what it has been granted: raise an incident, which lands in somebody's queue; raise a change request, which goes to the people who approve work on production; add a work note, or a comment the caller sees, to a ticket; change a ticket's state, assignment, priority or closure, or a change's planned window. Every other tool reads, searches or lists. An administrator grants each acting tool by name per team, and a personal connection acts only after its owner allows it.
- Which clients work?
- Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP: Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, OpenCode, Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the Anthropic and OpenAI SDKs. There is no local process to run; the server is remote and authenticated with your key.
