# Memtro — onboarding for agents

Memtro is a company memory behind an OpenAI-compatible API. Humans sign in at https://platform.memtro.com; agents use an API key.

## Connect

- API base URL: https://platform.memtro.com/v1 (OpenAI chat-completions shape)
- MCP server: https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP)
- Auth for both: `Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-…` (created at https://platform.memtro.com/dashboard/keys)

## Models

- `auto` routes by difficulty; `auto:agent` runs a multi-step investigation across connected systems.
- `memtro` is the organisation default; `anthropic/claude-opus-5`, `openai/gpt-5.4`, `claude-code/opus` name a model directly.

## Tools available over MCP

`memtro_search`, `memtro_remember` (scope: shared|personal), `memtro_explore`, `memtro_schedule_job`, `memtro_list_jobs`, `memtro_update_job`, plus `<connector>_<action>` for every connected system (e.g. `helpscout_search_conversations`, `hubspot_search`, `postgres_query`).
