Privacy policy
How Memtro collects, uses and protects your data.
Last updated: 8 October 2026. This policy covers the Memtro website (www.memtro.com) and the Memtro platform (platform.memtro.com).
Who we are
Memtro ("we", "us") operates the Memtro website and platform. Questions about this policy go to privacy@memtro.com.
What we collect
- Account data: your name, email address and password hash, or the identifier returned by Google when you sign in with Google. Organisation names and membership.
- Content you give the platform: provider API keys and connection credentials (encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM), the messages you send, the memories, entities and jobs the platform stores for you, and files you import.
- Data read from connected systems: when you connect a system (for example Help Scout, HubSpot or a database), the platform reads from it on your request or on the schedules you set. Results are used to answer your questions and, where you have chosen so, stored as memory. Every connector is read-only.
- Usage data: request logs (model, token counts, latency, errors), and, on the website, cookie-free aggregate analytics (page views and referrers, no personal identifiers).
How we use it
To run the service for you: authenticate you, send your requests to the model providers you have configured, store and retrieve memory, run jobs, and show you what the platform knows. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your content to train models.
Model providers
Your requests, with the retrieved memory and tool results needed to answer them, are sent to the model provider you chose (for example Anthropic, OpenAI or Google) using your own key, under that provider's terms. Memtro does not add its own model provider in between.
Where data lives
Platform data is stored in a Postgres database on infrastructure we operate in the United Kingdom.
Retention and deletion
Your data is kept while your account exists. You can delete memories, chats, jobs, keys and connections at any time in the dashboard, and delete your account by contacting us. Backups are retained for up to 30 days.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to object to processing. Contact privacy@memtro.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The platform uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and, if you choose "trust this device" at the two-factor step, a signed cookie that skips the code on that device for 30 days. The website sets no cookies; analytics are collected without cookies or personal identifiers.
Changes
We will post changes here and update the date above. Material changes will be announced in the platform.
