Royal Mail Click & Drop MCP server
Royal Mail Click & Drop in any MCP client, through Memtro: Royal Mail Click & Drop does not publish this server. Memtro's Royal Mail Click & Drop connector reads Royal Mail Click & Drop through its API with the credentials you connect, and one endpoint hands those tools, every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools to Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop or anything else that speaks Streamable HTTP, as you.
What the model can do
Read the order book of a Royal Mail Click & Drop account: orders with how far along they are and their tracking numbers, the carriers and services the account can use, Royal Mail OLP prices by destination and weight, manifests and the available return services. Can also create orders, generate a postage label (which applies postage), cancel orders, set an order's status, manifest the day's despatch and raise a return label when you ask it to.

Acts, when you ask
These change something in Royal Mail Click & Drop. The model is told to use them only when you ask for exactly that, and each one is granted by name: per team on a shared connection, by the owner on a personal one.
royalmail_create_orderCreates orders in the Click & Drop order book.royalmail_generate_labelGenerates the postage label or customs paperwork for orders, as one PDF.royalmail_cancel_ordersCancels (deletes) orders in Click & Drop.royalmail_set_order_statusSets the status of orders in Click & Drop — to despatched, to despatched by another courier, or back to new.royalmail_create_manifestManifests every eligible order on the account — all of those in "Label Generated" and "Despatched" statuses — and returns the manifest number.royalmail_retry_manifestRetries a manifest whose eligible orders did not finish processing, and returns its paperwork where it can.royalmail_create_returnCreates a return label and QR code so a recipient can send something back.
Connect it
First connect Royal Mail Click & Drop on Dashboard → Connections, then add Memtro to your client once. The Royal Mail Click & Drop tools appear alongside the tools of everything else you have connected; nothing is configured per connector.
Claude Code
One command registers the server; the tools are then available in every session.
claude mcp add --transport http memtro https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-..."Cursor
Add the server to .cursor/mcp.json in the project, or to the global file under ~/.cursor/.

Create a personal API key on Dashboard → Profile → API keys. In Claude Desktop add an MCP server of type HTTP with URL https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-…

A remote server in opencode.json.

}Any other client
Add an MCP server of type HTTP (Streamable HTTP, stateless) at https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-.... Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the SDKs all take a remote server this way.
Who may use it
The key identifies the person, and the server offers that person the tools they may use everywhere else in Memtro. A shared Royal Mail Click & Drop connection is used by the teams an administrator granted it to, tool by tool, on the Permissions page; a personal connection is used by its owner alone, and its tools that act stay off until the owner allows them. See Teams and permissions and Connectors.
Ask it like this
- › Which orders are still waiting for a label?
- › What is the tracking number for order 10492?
- › What would a 2kg parcel to Germany cost on each service?
- › Which orders were manifested today?
Questions
- Is this an official Royal Mail Click & Drop MCP server?
- No. It is Memtro's MCP server with Memtro's Royal Mail Click & Drop connector behind it: the connector reads Royal Mail Click & Drop through its API with the credentials you connect on Dashboard → Connections, and Royal Mail Click & Drop publishes nothing here. The same endpoint carries every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools.
- What does it cost?
- Nothing on top of Memtro. One price per organisation by its number of users, from $50 a month for up to 10 users after a 7-day free trial, with every connector, the MCP server, jobs and memory included. You bring your own model keys.
- Can it change anything in Royal Mail Click & Drop?
- Only when you ask, and only what it has been granted: create one or more orders in Click & Drop, with no postage applied and no label generated; generate a postage label or customs paperwork for orders, which applies postage and commits the cost to the account; cancel (delete) orders, which invalidates any label already generated for them; set an order's status to new, despatched, or despatched by another courier; manifest every eligible order, confirming to Royal Mail that those parcels are ready to despatch; retry the paperwork for a manifest whose orders did not finish processing; create a return label and QR code for a recipient to send something back. Every other tool reads, searches or lists. An administrator grants each acting tool by name per team, and a personal connection acts only after its owner allows it.
- Which clients work?
- Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP: Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, OpenCode, Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the Anthropic and OpenAI SDKs. There is no local process to run; the server is remote and authenticated with your key.
