Attio MCP server

Attio in any MCP client, through Memtro: Attio does not publish this server. Memtro's Attio connector reads Attio through its API with the credentials you connect, and one endpoint hands those tools, every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools to Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop or anything else that speaks Streamable HTTP, as you.

What the model can do

Attio CRM: query people, companies, deals and custom objects with filters, read a record with its notes and tasks, browse lists and their entries, and look up notes and workspace members; can also create or upsert a record, change a record's attributes, put a record on a list and move its entry along the pipeline or take it off again, add a note and raise a task when you ask.

Reads

  • attio_objectsObjects in the Attio workspace (standard and custom) and, for one object…
  • attio_queryQuery records of an object.
  • attio_recordOne record by id with every attribute flattened (references shown as names), plus its notes (newest first, text included) and tasks.
  • attio_listsLists (pipelines and collections) in the workspace, or one list: the attributes its entries carry — the stage among them…
  • attio_notesNotes across the workspace or for one record (object + record_id): title, who wrote it, when, and the text.
  • attio_membersWorkspace members (users) with email and access level, to translate owner and assignee references into people.

Acts, when you ask

These change something in Attio. The model is told to use them only when you ask for exactly that, and each one is granted by name: per team on a shared connection, by the owner on a personal one.

  • attio_create_recordCreates a record of any Attio object — a person, a company, a deal or a custom one — from attribute values given by slug.
  • attio_update_recordChanges attribute values on one Attio record, by object and record id.
  • attio_add_noteAdds a note to an Attio record — a meeting write-up, a call summary, the reasoning behind a stage change.
  • attio_create_taskCreates a task in Attio, linked to a record and assigned to workspace members.
  • attio_add_to_listPuts a record on an Attio list — a pipeline, a shortlist, an outbound campaign — and sets the entry's own attributes as it goes on…
  • attio_update_list_entryChanges a list entry's own attributes — the stage of a deal in a pipeline, the owner of a shortlisted company…
  • attio_remove_from_listTakes a record off an Attio list by deleting its entry.

Connect it

First connect Attio on Dashboard → Connections, then add Memtro to your client once. The Attio tools appear alongside the tools of everything else you have connected; nothing is configured per connector.

Claude Code

One command registers the server; the tools are then available in every session.

claude mcp add --transport http memtro https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-..."

Cursor

Add the server to .cursor/mcp.json in the project, or to the global file under ~/.cursor/.

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "memtro": {
      "url": "https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer sk-memtro-..."
      }
    }
  }
}

Claude Desktop

Create a personal API key on Dashboard → Profile → API keys. In Claude Desktop add an MCP server of type HTTP with URL https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp and the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-…

OpenCode

A remote server in opencode.json.

{
  "mcp": {
    "memtro": {
      "type": "remote",
      "url": "https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp",
      "headers": {
        "Authorization": "Bearer sk-memtro-..."
      }
    }
  }
}

Any other client

Add an MCP server of type HTTP (Streamable HTTP, stateless) at https://platform.memtro.com/api/mcp with the header Authorization: Bearer sk-memtro-.... Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the SDKs all take a remote server this way.

Who may use it

The key identifies the person, and the server offers that person the tools they may use everywhere else in Memtro. A shared Attio connection is used by the teams an administrator granted it to, tool by tool, on the Permissions page; a personal connection is used by its owner alone, and its tools that act stay off until the owner allows them. See Teams and permissions and Connectors.

Ask it like this

  • › Which deals are in Negotiation and who owns them?
  • › What do we know about Acme and who there have we met?
  • › Show the latest notes on the Globex record
  • › Who is on the Q4 outbound list and at what stage?
  • › Which companies did we add last week?

Questions

Is this an official Attio MCP server?
No. It is Memtro's MCP server with Memtro's Attio connector behind it: the connector reads Attio through its API with the credentials you connect on Dashboard → Connections, and Attio publishes nothing here. The same endpoint carries every other system you connect and Memtro's memory tools.
What does it cost?
Nothing on top of Memtro. One price per organisation by its number of users, from $50 a month for up to 10 users after a 7-day free trial, with every connector, the MCP server, jobs and memory included. You bring your own model keys.
Can it change anything in Attio?
Only when you ask, and only what it has been granted: create a person, company, deal or custom record, matching an existing one on an email or a domain rather than duplicating it; change attribute values on a record; add a note to a record; create a task, linked to a record and assigned to a member; put a record on a list — a pipeline, a shortlist, a campaign — at the stage it enters at; move a list entry along a pipeline, or change anything else the list keeps on it; take a record off a list, which deletes everything that list kept on it. Every other tool reads, searches or lists. An administrator grants each acting tool by name per team, and a personal connection acts only after its owner allows it.
Which clients work?
Any MCP client that speaks Streamable HTTP: Claude Code, Cursor, Claude Desktop, OpenCode, Codex, Zed, Windsurf, Cline and the Anthropic and OpenAI SDKs. There is no local process to run; the server is remote and authenticated with your key.
